"Many Express Outrage Over Ticket Problem"
It was touch and go for about 45 minutes this morning and we almost became one of these victims. But Diana's dogged persistence paid off and we barreled our way to our designated spot.

We gave up trying to get our seats at the parade not realizing it is just getting started. But on 5 hours sleep in the last two days, we needed to rest so we're watching on TV and I get to type on a real keyboard instead of my iPhone. We took some formal pictures at the balls in the last two days but they have not been made available yet. Tonight is the big one though.

There were no provisions for the 5000 ticketed people and we ended up among the throngs. We'll probably head for the hotel and rest before we go dance with the President and First Lady tonight. Actually, no one really dances with them of course. Truth be told, there is little glamour at Inaugural Balls but they sure are fun. Tonight I go to the Bytes & Books Ball courtesy of Apple and the Southern Regional Ball where the President is promised to attend. A truly spectacular weekend. It's a new day in America.
